Dual-purpose?

The name says it all really – a dual-purpose cow is raised for milk and for meat production. Did you know that there are three basic types of cow breeds – milk, dual-purpose and meat? Cuisson always selects the best cows from, for example, Austria and Bavaria, including the magnificent dual-purpose breed Fleckvieh/Simmentaler, and cuts the perfect steak for you.

Why do you use dual-purpose cows?

Because the cows produce milk their whole lives and graze outside most of the time, the meat is especially tender. The premium quality of our meat can be seen in the fine veins of fat running through it that we call marbling. What exactly is marbling?
